It all begins with a feeling as we remember and evolve with something new.
How do we do this thing?
-
Set your space up with intention. We are about to board the Unified Field. Get comfy on a yoga mat, with a blanket and pillow under the knees (not the head/neck). Wear loose comfortable clothing. We ask that you set up your device’s camera so that we can see your full torso breathing.
Before joining the group, allow yourself moments to relax into your space, and reflect - maybe asking yourself, “Why am I joining breathwork today?” Allow your intention to come to you, as we will share our intentions as a group.
Some breathing tools can be helpful for some beings, but these are not mandatory or needed in this breathwork practice:
A Back Jack to open up your chest.
A mouthpiece (top of a 2-liter bottle) to keep the mouth open.
Belly bags to support and assist one to breath into their abdominals.
A blindfold to cover the eyes.
Pen and paper or voice recorder to track down your experience after your breathing practice is done.
As Shakti Crew guides the group through a two-hour session, we encourage the use of headphones with a long extended cord for movement or a speaker that allows you to hear the depths of the musical journey.
In addition, you may want to prepare your surroundings with water, tissues, aromatherapy, mood lighting, or whatever creates a sacred space for you…
We also suggest you choose a private space where you can freely express yourself verbally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. If you are unable to be in a private area we often use a pillow to minimize the sound while allowing our fullest expressions.

The Art of Breathing Intuit experience is an open mouth breathing practice; profound inhale through an open mouth, and a relaxed exhale through the mouth. Continuing this cycle, with no pauses in between. As we begin to breathe, we place the right hand above the pubic bone (the lower belly) and the left hand on the heart. Breathe into both hands at the same time using the diaphragm muscle; feeling the expansion on the inhale, and the contraction on the exhale. We recommend closing your eyes for the entirety of the session to remain within. If you find this to be difficult, we recommend wearing an eye mask. Throughout the breathwork, gently bring your internal gaze up to the third eye. Try not to control nor resist the life force energy, described by some as tingles, and/or ants running through the body. Rather than resisting it, allow it to be received in love, breath into it, redirect it and dance with it.
We welcome all energy, expressions, emotions, and releases in this space. As emotions and energy arise we activate the use of tones and sounds to assist the movement of energy through the body. If you feel the need to scream or express loudly, and you are not in a space to freely release your expression, we recommend using a pillow to scream into. To move the energy, use somatic movements: shaking, tapping, massage and light body work, activating your ability to consciously facilitate your own healing progress.
During each session, we will be led through a special journey, as each breath is special to the energies of those moments. Each breathwork is unique, no session being the same as the other.
